Two who personify those characteristics are Judi Goldstein and Scott Fagan, and the company they created is Metropolitan Management Corporation.

Scott takes care of the financials and maintenance aspects and I focus on the leasing and marketing end", she said…"and Judi also does a lot of the design," said Scott, completing Judi's thought.
Originally colleagues at a real estate firm, with both focused solely on commercial sales, their defining moment came on an otherwise mundane day when a client came in desperately searching for someone to help manage his two properties.

"But it looked like a good idea to Scott and I and we decided to manage the properties for him. Then, when we saw that we were pretty good at it, we went back to our owner and told him that we would like to start a management division in the company."However, their owner once again declined, emphatic that there was not enough financial benefits to warrant such a move. But with a strong belief in their ability and knowing that there was great potential in this aspect of the business, despite a lack of funds, they formed their own property management company.

Scott has previously served as President of both the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia and the PA Apartment Association

...
Sometimes we had to teach them how to do things (Scott refers to it as ‘Metropolitan University') but once they learned, they could be on the same wavelength in giving exceptional service to our residents."
Their attention to detail and renovation is not merely limited to keeping a property in working order."One of our main signatures is curb appeal," said Scott.

The common bonds and genuine caring that Scott and Judi have not only for each other but also for their employees and residents alike stand as a trademark not to be envied but, more so, to be emulated.
