She has worked with the District of Columbia Child and Family Services Agency, the foster care agency for Washington, DC in a number of positions including as law clerk to the General Counsel and ultimately the position of Executive Assistant to the General Counsel where she served as liaison between CFSA and other District and federal agencies in representing the interests of the agency and children who had become wards of the District. Ms. Ewings is a seasoned public policy advocate that has applied her more than 10 years of experience in areas as diverse as national telecommunications policy and child welfare.She has been the Program Director for a non-profit organization serving at risk youth in Washington, DC.She has likewise worked on legislative issues that affected children and youth in foster care, and administered wrap-around services programs for children and youth in foster care. Ms. Ewings is a sought after spokesperson and representative for ministries and support groups assisting persons with addictive lifestyles making presentations throughout DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Ms. Ewings is also the founder of Write the Vision, LLC, a Washington, DC based publishing house.As a consultant with The Crawford Group, Inc., www.thecrawfordgroup.com she utilizes her own excellent writing ability in her role as a program and policy consultant.
