Since joining the John Child & Company in 1977, Uson has provided real estate consulting and appraisal expertise to Federal, State and County agencies, private businesses, trusts, and individuals in Hawaii.He is qualified as an expert in real estate appraisal in the Courts of Hawaii, California, and Massachusetts, and has provided expert testimony in condemnation trials involving leased-to-fee conversions and public utility easements.He has also testified before Federal agencies, Congressional Committees, and the Hawaii State Legislature, and has served as an arbitrator or expert witness in numerous arbitration proceedings.
Uson actively supports culture and the arts and volunteers at community service organizations in Hawaii.He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Diamond Head Theatre, Mental Health Kokua, and the Hawaii Legal Auxiliary.
