ATHENS -- Funeral for Arnell Betty Evans , 71 , of Athens will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Mrs. Evans died Friday , May 11 , 2001 , at Athens Convalescent Center. She was born May 21 , 1929 , in Limestone County. She was retired from Chrysler and was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband , George R. Evans ; five sons , Dennis Evans of Taft , Tenn. , Mike Evans and Gerald Evans , both of Madison , Johnny Evans of Ardmore and Moe Evans of Athens ; one brother , Dwight Hargraves of Madison ; one sister ; Virginia Hargraves of Huntsville ; seven grandchildren ; and three great-grandchildren.
