Alison Evans - Client Services Manager

Alison has been with the Trust since its beginning in 1995.She is totally blind having lost her sight at the age of 13.Alison spent a few months at Blatchington Court School and later moved onto Dorton House School in Sevenoaks, Kent.She then spent a further 3 years at the Royal National College, Hereford achieving the necessary qualifications for entrance to University where she obtained a BA Hons Degree in Combined Studies.Alison is responsible for overseeing the daily running of the Trust and the services it delivers.All new referrals should be made direct to Alison.

Alison Evans, Client Services Manager from the Trust, who is herself blind, said: "I have looked through the pack myself and enjoyed learning about the orchestra.

All new referrals should be made direct to Alison Evans the Client Services Manager.Once the referral has been made, Alison will contact the individual or their parents in order to arrange a home visit.During this visit Alison will check that all correct benefits are being received and that parents and individuals are aware of their benefit entitlement.Alison will also ensure that they are aware of the specialist teachers and also the ROVI's.Alison will discuss the various ways in which the trust can offer assistance and more often than not arrange for an individual to undergo a full assessment of their computer needs with a view to the trust providing them with a suitable home computer system.
