   Dr. Emmett Evanoff received his Ph.D. in geology from the University of Colorado, where his research focused on the study of paleoenvironments and sedimentary processes. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Geology Department at the University of Northern Colorado, and a Research Associate with both the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and the University of Colorado Museum. Emmett brings to his teaching a tremendous knowledge of regional geology and a contagious enthusiasm for the geologic events that have shaped western landscapes.
