"It's just now being recognized as the cash cow that it is," said Donald Evanoff, a student in Camden County College's new video-game degree program, and a "gamer" since 1978.
"Who's watching TV?"he said."They're playing games."
...
Evanoff, 31, the Camden County student, wants a job as a game producer after he finishes his degree next spring.
"I'm not a strong artistic person. My programming skills are limited," he said."But I know what makes a good game and what doesn't."
Evanoff, who lives in Audubon and has a bachelor's degree in political science from Rutgers-Camden, said he would relocate for a job.
"If you want to work in the industry, you have to be willing to move," he said.
