After announcing the goal, Davis, labor chair Rocco Evangelista, and Mid-Ohio FoodBank executive director Matt Habash, helped serve a hot meal to guests at Community Kitchen.

Today, the 2006 Operation Feed Campaign Chairs David Blom, President and CEO of OhioHealth, and Rocco Evangelista, President of the National Association of Letter Carriers Buckeye Branch 78, also announced the 2006 goal for Operation Feed will be to raise 4 million meals.Canstruction® is organized as the joint effort of the Columbus chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Columbus), the Society of Design Administration (SDA), the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio (BX), Giant Eagle, Pepsi, COSI Columbus and Operation Feed.
