   Lydia Evangelista is a Legal Assistant in our Litigation department. She worked in the downtown Toronto area for the past 14 years. In her spare time, she likes to read. She also has a keen interest in sports, music, dancing and is fluent in Italian. Lydia was born in Southern Italy and came to Canada at an early age. Outside of her job, she tries to devote all her time and attention to her three children.
   
   Carm Bruno joined Banks & Starkman in 1987 as a legal secretary and obtained her law clerk certification in 1995. Although her experience is diverse, she specializes in the area of real estate and estates. Carm keeps herself busy outside the office with her husband, two teenage daughters and involvement as a member of the Catholic School Advisory Council. She is also active in local fundraising, participating annually in walkathons for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society and Multiple Sclerosis Society.
