Anne Eustis, a resident of The Highlands, recently was certified as a CPR instructor at the Chapter.
Anne will generously give her time this summer to teach CPR classes on a volunteer basis.Anne has a long history of saving lives. She was an EMT in Princeton, MA for 27 years, and she was an EMT instructor and Chief Examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
"I thought when I left Massachusetts I was done with First Aid of any kind, it was part of my former life," Anne said."However, I sat in on a First Aid course here at the Highlands last Fall and realized I really missed it and I approached Victor about becoming a volunteer instructor here at the Red Cross."
Anne splits her time between the classes she teaches at the Mid Coast Chapter, and the Topsham Public Library where she also volunteers. She has also just been elected to serve on the Board of Estates North III at The Highlands.
Anne is one of many hard-working, dedicated volunteers working here at the Mid Coast Chapter American Red Cross. Our volunteers aid disaster victims, teach life-saving techniques, and give blood helping to make the mid coast community a safer place to live, work, and play.
Together, we can save a life.
