Hidekel (Heidi) Eusebio is a Vice President in the Diversity Solutions group at Edelman New York, specializing in Hispanic marketing.She has in-depth background experience in consumer and event marketing, healthcare communications, and media relations at the local, regional and national levels.Heidi started her career at Edelman, working on event marketing in the Consumer Health division, and returned to the company to pursue U.S. Hispanic marketing communications.
Heidi's current responsibilities include managing the development and implementation of consumer-directed programs targeted at the U.S. Hispanic market on behalf of a variety of accounts.Through strategic partnerships with national and community Hispanic organizations as well as Hispanic media, Heidi has helped clients such as Home Shopping Español, Goya Foods, Pfizer, Kraft, Johnson & Johnson, Schering-Plough, and Hoffmann-La Roche foster relationships with the complex and diverse U.S. Hispanic market.
Specifically, she managed coordination and execution of several successful high-profile events for Acuvue in multiple markets and Home Shopping Español in New York with an international acclaimed Hispanic celebrity.She also played a key role in the conducting a fashion show on behalf of ABSOLUT VODKA at 7th on Six with Hispanic designer Sully Bonnelly, which generated extensive media coverage from Spanish- and English-language media nationally and internationally.Heidi managed the agency's first foray into the Puerto Rican market, coordinating a press conference and media tour for Xenical/Roche in conjunction with the Department of Health.
Prior to returning to Edelman, Heidi worked at Fleishman-Hillard, where she helped develop comprehensive health education programs.She also managed one of the company's pro bono accounts, Body Positive, a community service organization dedicated to assisting people living with HIV.
Heidi holds a BA in Sociology and minors in Political Science and Spanish Literature from New York University.She is on the board of directors of the Hispanic Public Relations Association of New York.
