In addition to the 147 units, Henry Eure, deputy director of the Salisbury Department of Building, Housing and Zoning, said a community center, swimming pool, basketball court and volleyball court are proposed.
"The architects (Becker Morgan Group) did a nice job," he said. "The project met all of the zoning code requirements."
Yet Eure said concerns from Onley Road residents such as Graham prompted the planning commission to wait until April 15 to make a decision on the proposal.

Eure said the developers were not required to widen the road, but offered to do so if the property owners would agree to it.
"I think a majority of the owners don't want their land taken away," he said. -

Henry Eure, deputy director of the Salisbury Department of Building, Housing and Zoning, said the six-building project was approved in October 2002, but plans were not presented to the planning commission until November 2003.
"We reviewed the plans for one of the buildings recently -- one with office space on the first floor and apartments on the second floor," he said.
Eure said the property lies north of Riverside Drive, south of the Riverside Medical Park and east of the Wicomico River.
The rental prices will begin at $1,000, and the residences come with amenities such as individual boat slips for most of the units and a landscape inspired by Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville, Williams said.
"The park and landscape is being designed with all of the native species of flowers in Maryland," he said.
