"I truly don't feel it's fair to not offer advanced opportunities because we're small," said Homedale School District curriculum coordinator Glenda Eubanks, who has worked in the effort to bring concurrent credit courses to Homedale for two years.
The school of 350 students has long offered honors classes, which are more advanced and more difficult than regular courses, Eubanks said.

Eubanks said the classes give students, who might otherwise take five or six years to finish college, "a little bit of a boost" by allowing them to get classes out of the way before they ever set foot on a college campus.
Homedale will likely add more concurrent credit classes during the coming years, Eubanks said.
"We've got several things on board to expand it," she said.
