SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., June 4, 2002 – Modulant, the leading provider of semantics-based interoperability solutions, today announced the appointment of Gene Eubanks as chief executive officer. Eubanks brings strong leadership skills, deep industry experience and a proven track record of successfully bringing innovative technologies to market. As CEO, Eubanks will be responsible for overall company growth and profitability, as well as ensuring that the company continues to align its breakthrough technology with evolving market opportunity.
Eubanks brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Modulant. He was formerly COO of Sequencia, a provider of collaborative PLM solutions for the process industries. Prior to Sequencia, Eubanks held positions as VP of worldwide sales at NetFish Technologies, VP of global accounts at Web Methods, and VP of worldwide sales and marketing with Intelligroup. Previously, Eubanks spent more than 8 years with SAP as one of SAP's top global sales performers, and holding numerous managerial and executive roles. Prior to SAP, he was a senior manager in the management consulting practice at Price Waterhouse. Eubanks began his career as a systems engineer in the supply chain software division of IBM, and later became a sales executive in the general systems division.
