   MANCHESTER, NH - June 30, 2000 - Vitts Networks, a premier provider of high-speed Internet communications and enterprise networking services, announced today that it has named David Etzler vice president of direct sales for its New York and New Jersey regions.
   
   Etzler, who will manage all direct account sales in the territory, is among a large team of high-level telecommunications and network professionals Vitts has successfully recruited over the past six months to direct and support its rapid expansion throughout a 13-state area from Maine to Virginia.
   
   Etzler has already begun building a regional organization of sales executives and engineers to penetrate the New York and New Jersey markets, which mark the companyís expansion of services into 8 Northeast states. By 2001, Vitts plans to have extended its network and service offerings into Washington D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and W. Virginia.
   
   Prior to joining Vitts, Etzler was regional vice president of sales for Qwest Communications where he was responsible for Internet and multimedia sales, marketing, and operations east of the Mississippi. Prior to Qwest, he was director of carrier and affiliate channels for Icon CMT Corporation and corporate sales manager for IDT Internet Services.

   David B. Etzler - Vice President of Direct Sales (New York/New Jersey): Mr. Etzler is responsible for all direct account sales for the states of New York and New Jersey. Mr. Etzler's background in data communications technology selling and sales organization development and management. Prior to joining Vitts, Mr. Etzler was Regional Vice President of Sales for Qwest Communications where he was responsible for all sales, marketing and operations east of the Mississippi covering their Internet and Multimedia markets.
