Cathy Ettinger has recently been appointed Deborah Hospital Foundation's Pennsylvania Region Director according to Julius Katz, Executive Director, Deborah Hospital Foundation.

Ms. Ettinger comes to Deborah a former employee of the Katz Jewish Community Center, where she assumed the posts of Director, First Impressions Dating Connection of Southern New Jersey and Program Coordinator, TheBridge Singles.Her duties for each position ranged from establishing the tri-state dating service's foundation to organizing events for singles to participate in.Additionally, Ms. Ettinger has in her credentials, previous employment as Program and Fundraising Coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and was Consumer Affairs and Public Relations Director for Acme Markets, Voorhees, NJ.
As Director, of the Pennsylvania Region, Ms. Ettinger is responsible for overseeing the network of Deborah's 33 volunteer chapters throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, which includes not only providing leadership and assistance to existing Chapters in the Region, but also forming and developing new chapters.

Additionally, Ms. Ettinger will coordinate fundraising objectives, prepare the Regional budget and supervise employee evaluations.

A graduate of Tufts University, Medford, Mass., where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Fine Arts, Ms. Ettinger admits she is most looking forward to continuing Deborah Heart and Lung Center's mission of providing medical care to the sick and indigent, regardless of race, creed or financial status.
"Deborah has such a draw," admits Ms. Ettinger.

Outside of Deborah, Ms. Ettinger has been actively involved in the Art Goes to School Program, the Cherry Hill School PTA, the Hadassah Organization and Women's American Ort.

Ms. Ettinger resides in Cherry Hill and has two sons: one attending Columbia University, NY, the other readying himself for a Fall entrance into the University of Delaware.
