ELWOOD -- James "Maurice" Etchison, 75, Elwood, died Aug. 17, 2003, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood after a brief illness.

He was born June 10, 1928, in Elwood.He retired in 1987 from Delco Remy in Anderson after 18 years of service and was a longtime farmer.

He was a faithful member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Elwood and was a 1946 graduate of Frankton High School.He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the Disabled Veteran's Association and the American Legion.
