Stacey Estrella is a member of August Advisors' Crisis and Turnaround Management team.Ms. Estrella leads the process re-engineering, design and reassignments of tasks to remaining employees after a reduction in workforce.

Prior to August Advisors, Ms. Estrella was the founder and CEO of the first and leading website providing automated health care and wellness services for pets.Ms. Estrella developed a highly-differentiated, B2C2B information-services business model using pet demographics to provide precision marketing services to the industry, to predict and control pharmaceutical consumption, and to optimize customer acquisition, conversion and retention.Ms. Estrella recruited investors, advisors and board members from eToys.com, Women.com and Merial Corporation.Ms. Estrella also negotiated content, distribution and revenue agreements with publishers, academic institutions, pharmaceutical firms and insurance providers.During her tenure at the pet healthcare company, Ms. Estrella designed and implemented a database-driven, interactive, and personalized content/community website to drive viral marketing, subscriber conversion, page views and repeat visits.The company was awarded the "Forbes Favorite, Best of the Web" award in the Summer and Fall of 2000.The company also achieved a Top-9 traffic ranking in June and August of 2000, generated an international subscriber base, achieved up to 4.6 referrals per subscriber, a 72% click-thru rate, 96% conversion rate, a 73% pet profile participation rate, and a subscriber acquisition cost of $.50.

Before founding her pet healthcare company, Ms. Estrella formed a consulting group to develop and apply proprietary analytical tools, process reengineering methodologies and measurement techniques to improve the Design, Development, Test, Delivery and Support of software products and internet services.Her clients included PeopleSoft, Sybase, and Quote.com.

Ms. Estrella has also held several positions within Oracle Corporation, where she analyzed business systems, operations and metrics; managed company-wide process reengineering efforts and measurement systems, and managed up to 42 personnel.

Ms. Estrella holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a B.A. in American Studies from Stanford University.
