Jamie Estock's areas of interest include human performance and safety in complex systems.She has applied these interests to areas ranging from the impact of simulator fidelity on training effectiveness, to developing observer-based performance measures for F-16 pilots and members of the Dynamic Targeting Cell of the Air and Space Operation Center, to optimizing the computing environments of intelligence analysts via cognitive modeling.
Ms. Estock holds a M.A. in Human Factors/Applied Cognitive Psychology from George Mason University and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, the National Patient Safety Foundation, and the National Honor Society in Psychology.Ms. Estock has served as the Human Performance Group Chairman for the National Transportation Safety Board on two major marine accident investigations.
