Justin Erickson

Justin Erickson, a student at General Greene Elementary, won first place in the third- through fifth-grade competition.As a first-place winner, Erickson received a $50 savings bond, which was sponsored by the Governor's Highway Safety Program.In addition, his poster is also featured along with other category winners, on the School Bus Safety Web site at http://www.ncbussafety.org.Since Erickson is a first-place winner, his poster will also be entered in the National School Bus Safety Week Poster Contest, to be held in Austin, Texas, next month.

Spencer Winspear, a student at Cleveland Elementary (Johnston County Schools) was the Division 1 (K-2 grades) winner, Justin Erickson, a student at General Greene Elementary (Guilford County Schools) won first place in Division 2 (3-5 grades), Amaniyea Pridgen, a student at Eastern Wayne Elementary (Wayne County Schools) won first place in Division 4 (Special Ed) and Zia Roberts, a former West Edgecombe Middle School student and currently a Southwest Edgecombe High student (Edgecombe County Schools), won first place in Division 3 (6-8 grades).
