Jim co-founded Western Ventures Construction in 1983.He now serves as Senior Project Manager and Estimator.He aides and consults on multiple facets of company matters, including strategic planning, estimating, conflict resolution and mentoring our newest Project Manager, Jason Marion.

Prior to Western Ventures, Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Washington in 1970.He was also a Project Engineer at Sellen Construction and then a Project Manager at Atlas Construction, before co-founding Western Ventures.

Projects completed by Jim span 4 decades and the entire State of Washington.Jim has served as both the chairman and a member of the AGC / AIA committee and the AGC state facilities committee.He is an avid Rotary Club member and a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow award.

Jim was born and raised in Seattle and currently resides in the Magnolia neighborhood.

Ryan is also a Project Manager for Western Ventures alongside Senior Project Manager and mentor, Jim Erickson, and our up-and-coming Project Manager, Jason Marion.
