"They're purchasing land, because we need more fields," said Jill Erickson, first vice president of the Vigo County Youth Soccer Association he said."We don't have enough room at the fairgrounds."

The association was founded in 1977 with 100 registered players.In the 2006 spring season, 1,000 players registered, Erickson said.
