Playing at the last match of the tournament was Doug Erickson, Maintenance and Repair Technician for The Avalon Clinic.He had not lost a single game and his team remained undefeated throughout the entire tournament.

The pool game was modified single elimination -- played on seven foot tables.This means that the team would choose a member to represent them against another player from an opponent's team.

"It was really stressful.Everyone was on the edge of their seat," said Doug.

When the match had ended, Doug Erickson was the victor.

"I am really excited to go to Las Vegas with my team," said Doug."Only two or three teams from the Tacoma area are qualified to go."
