Rachel joined the travel industry in 1990, after completing an intense 2 year travel and tourism course in Portsmouth, UK.She then worked for a French cross channel Ferry operator for 3 years.Since then she has worked as an international travel consultant in the USA, and a travel agency manager in Halifax.She joined Wood Travel and Cruise in August 2003 when she moved to Sooke. .

Rachel brings with her a vast knowledge of the UK and Europe as well as Asia, North America and other world wide destinations.She has experience in group travel, organizing wedding and honeymoon packages and is an expert in tailor-made vacations.Rachel personally prefers city-breaks to beach vacations and is well versed in how to make your holiday a success..
