Columbia, S.C. - Mulkey Engineers & Consultants is pleased to announce that Quinton Epps has joined our team to serve as our senior environmental scientist for the South Carolina branch.
Epps has over 18 years of experience in environmental planning and permitting.Previously he worked for the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) as a program manager in the division of water quality.While at SCDHEC, Quinton was involved in 401 water quality certifications for Army Corps of Engineers (ACE), 404 permits, state navigable waters, water quality standards and NPDES permitting.He also served on the S.C. mitigation banking review team and was involved in the re-writing of the ACE standard operating procedure for compensatory mitigation in South Carolina.
Epps will be using his extensive experience in environmental permitting and planning to expand Mulkey's environmental services offerings in South Carolina.Quinton's focus is ACE 404/401 permits and certifications, impact planning, innovative development and construction strategies, jurisdictional determinations, stream and wetland restoration, mitigation banking and storm water permitting.Quinton is also involved in water resource regulation, water quality standards and other environmental permitting and planning activities.
