12/23/02 - SLIPPERY ROCK - Aaron Epps is not just having a season of transition - he's had a college basketball career of such.

The Butler graduate has switched from point guard to shooting guard for Slippery Rock University this year and he's playing for his third coach in four seasons.

"Having to make that many adjustments has to be rough on Aaron.But he never stops working."

And Epps doesn't mind the transition.

He scored 20 points in Saturday's 75-57 loss to Mansfield at Morrow Field House.No other Rock player was in double digits.

Despite the loss, SRU is 4-3 heading into its two-week holiday break and is off to its best start since 1993-94.
