Beca Transportation, led by Section Manager Matt Ensor, received the Diversity Award at New Zealand's 2007 Equal Employment Opportunities Awards.

"Clearly this was an environment where new staff were not able to work to their full potential," said Transportation Manager, Matt Ensor.
"We were also noticing a poor work/life balance and lower than typical satisfaction levels amongst these staff, often due to living arrangements and differences in cultural expectations.

As the new manager, Matt instigated series of initiatives to create a workplace and team environment where Beca would be able to claim the title of the ‘employer of choice for immigrating traffic engineers'. -
