W. Gordon Eismon ‘34, being inducted posthumously, made his mark as an administrator of high school athletics in W.Va. A renowned innovator, he helped spark the growth of high school athletics across the State during his tenure as Executive Secretary of the Secondary Schools Activities Commission, a position he held from 1959-1975. Eismon was past president of the National Federation of State High School Associations and elected to the Mid Ohio Valley Hall of Fame a few years ago.
