   Vassar College endowment fund has hired Colgate University finance v.p. and treasurer Elizabeth Eismeier to oversee the investment of the school's $600 million endowment. Eismeier , who is slated to assume her new role July 1 , would replace former CFO Anthony Stellato , who retired last year , said Frances Fergusson , the fund's president. Once on board , Eismeier would report to Fergusson , and would review and monitor the fund's asset allocation and recommend any investment or manager changes to the fund's investment committee.

   Elizabeth Eismeier, the financial vice-president and treasurer at Colgate University, talked about organizations such as the Partnership for Community Development, the Hamilton Initiative and the Mid-York Business Airpark.
   
   PCD celebrated its second year anniversary this past July. The group, which was formed to revitalize Hamilton's economy, has grown as evidenced by the 120 people who atttended its two-year anniversary celebration. Among PCD's projects is a facade restoration program designed to keep Hamilton attractive.
   
   "Five years from now we'd like to have a facade which cause people who pass through Hamilton to want to pull over and stop," said Eismeier.
