RICHARD EISINGERSenior Advisor to the President
Richard Eisinger is Senior Advisor to the President of America's Promise-The Alliance for Youth and focuses on the President's priorities and strategic vision for the organization.
Before joining America's Promise, Mr. Eisinger worked in a variety of senior management and policy positions for agencies of the United States Government.Early in his career, Mr. Eisinger supervised and conducted research, first at the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare Public Health Service, and then at the U.S. Information Agency's Office of Research.He then served as a senior staff member and was responsible for overseeing regulatory and information-gathering activities of many Federal Departments.As part of his work as Senior Executive Officer at the Social Security Administration Office of the Commissioner, Mr. Eisinger was responsible for strategic planning and implementation of agency goals and objectives.Most recently, Mr. Eisinger served as the Deputy Executive Secretary to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.There, he controlled and ensured the quality of all major documents presented to the Secretary.
Mr. Eisinger holds a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Colorado and masters degree in psychology from the University of Missouri.
