  Irving, Texas, April 3, 2006 ,The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) announced the recipient of the 2006 President's Award, Harvey Eisenstadt, who was honored at the NBFAA Awards Luncheon in Las Vegas, Monday, April 3, 2006.
  
  The annual luncheon, held during the NBFAA Spring Conference & Chartered State Association (CSA) Symposium, honors outgoing NBFAA leadership for their guidance, dedication and service to the industry.
  
  NBFAA President Scot Colby bestowed the award on Eisenstadt, who is the Associate Member Representative for the NBFAA Board of Directors , a position he has held for more than three years.
  
  Eisenstadt is also the Associates Director and Convention Chair for the California Alarm Association and has been for more than 25 years.
  
  "Harvey has been a strong advocate for active participation in the national and state associations," said Scot Colby, NBFAA president.

  Under Eisenstadt's leadership the NBFAA Associate Membership category has grown to more than 60 member companies , a 200 percent increase from three years ago, Colby said.
