    Outside the office, Matt is active in the Napa community.Between the Fall of 2000 and the Spring of 2002, Matt served as the general coordinator for the Playground Fantástico project, a community-built playground and public art space that brought 3,000 people together for a barn-raising style "build" in May of 2002.Matt currently serves as Chair of Friends of Playground Fantástico.Matt also serves on the Board of the Napa Valley Youth Symphony, where he is co-chair of the Fundraising Committee.Matt is a past board member of the Arts Council of Napa Valley (2002-2004), the Napa Valley Education Foundation (1999-2006), and past president of the Charter Council of the Napa Valley Language Academy (2005-2007).
