   Stanley Eisen has been promoted to executive vice president of special products at UniGroup Inc., the parent company of United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit. In his new position, Eisen is responsible for the operation and administration of the non-household goods division of the company, which transports electronics equipment, trade show displays and other commodities requiring special handling.
   
   Eisen began his career with the UniGroup companies in 1998 as vice president of Mayflower Transit's Special Transportation Systems and has most recently served as vice president of special products for UniGroup. Prior to joining UniGroup, Eisen served in management capacities at two other carriers.
