   Ms. Eisen co-founded the firm and has represented a diverse array of clients ranging from foreign and domestic financial institutions to labor unions, government entities, media companies and bankruptcy trustees.
   
   Ms. Eisen frequently represents major creditors in bankruptcy related matters. She represented bond holders' indenture trustees in both the De Laurentiis Entertainment and the Qintex Entertainment cases, and she participated in the restructuring of $500,000,000 of debt through a "pre-packaged" plan of reorganization as bankruptcy counsel for a senior secured lender in the Specialty Equipment Companies, Inc. case. Ms. Eisen represented Fresenius in its acquisition of dialysis centers from a failed operator, she has significant experience representing creditors' committees, and she organized a rarely seen Unofficial Committee of State Attorneys General in the Chapter 11 case of Direct American Marketers, Inc. Ms. Eisen also has substantial litigation experience in the bankruptcy courts. In the First Lenders Indemnity Corporation case, she represented the trustee in complex litigation and achieved recoveries in excess of $25,000,000. She also represented the Chapter 11 trustee in the Pioneer Take Out Corporation case which culminated in the successful sale of the company's store locations.
   
   Prior to co-founding this firm with Mr. Weinstein, Ms. Eisen was instrumental in founding the bankruptcy department for an international law firm's Los Angeles office and later, she was bankruptcy counsel at the international law firm of Coudert Brothers.
   
   Ms. Eisen is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and was elected a member and Note Editor of the Cornell Law Review (1980-82). She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, American Bar Association, Financial Lawyers Conference, International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, and Los Angeles County Bar Association (Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section). Ms. Eisen is frequently called upon to speak and write on bankruptcy topics.
   
   Ms. Eisen attended Brown University and received her B.A. from University of California at Berkeley in 1978. She received her law degree from Cornell Law School in 1982, and prior to entering private practice, Ms. Eisen was a law clerk for the Honorable Robert E. Coyle of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
