   Margaret (Peggi) Einhorn, M.B.A., chief financial officer and treasurer of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, was drawn to the Foundation because of its commitment to improving the health and health care of all Americans. With an extensive background in finance, as well as strategic and business planning, Einhorn ensures that RWJF fulfills its financial obligations as a private, tax-exempt foundation, and is a good steward of the private resources entrusted to it in the public's interest. Einhorn is a former senior vice president of J.P. Morgan Chase in New York City, where she worked in a broad range of financial roles over 24 years. At RWJF, she brings experience from the for-profit sector to help the Foundation meet the financial and organizational goals that underlie its "Impact Framework." Einhorn's areas of responsibility include: accounting, tax planning, management information, resource allocation, technology and program due diligence and monitoring.
   
   Before joining the Foundation in 2004, Einhorn held a range of senior roles in global finance, including work in business planning, investor relations, corporate treasury, and financial operations. Long active in civic affairs, she is the former chairwoman of the Board of The Brooklyn Children's Museum, the world's first museum for children, and is currently a trustee and chair of its Strategic Planning Committee. She also was a 1999 recipient of a David Rockefeller Fellowship from the New York City Partnership, allowing her to join with twelve other executives in examining key issues in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors of New York City.
   
   Einhorn received an M.B.A. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business and a B.A. degree from William Smith College. The daughter of a physician, she and her husband, Michael Lasky, an attorney, reside in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and have two adult children. She enjoys drawing, running, and biking and, with a three hour daily commute, is an avid listener of books-on-tape.

   Margaret (Peggi) Einhorn, M.B.A., became the chief financial officer and treasurer of the Foundation in June 2004. Einhorn is a former senior vice president of J.P. Morgan Chase in New York City, where she spent 24 years in diverse roles within the financial area, including assignments in investor relations and MIS and as CFO for LabMorgan, the firm's former e-commerce department.
   
   Einhorn is the former chairwoman of the board of The Brooklyn Children's Museum and remains an active trustee. She also was a 1999 recipient of a David Rockefeller Fellowship from the New York City Partnership.
