    Harry O. Eiler President and Chief Executive Officer HazChem Environmental Corporation

    As president, chief executive officer and founder, Eiler has executive responsibility for HazChem's overall operations. He has more than 27 years of experience in environmental management.

    Prior to founding HazChem, Eiler worked for Precision Energy Systems, Inc. (PES). He served as President of PES from 1988 to 1991. Eiler played a major role in developing a medical and hazardous waste management firm, reaching total revenues of eight million dollars per year. Before that, he spent 3 years with the Environmental Planning and Sciences Division of Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc., serving in a range of increasingly more responsible positions, with specific focus on development and implementation of marketing strategies in the Midwest region. He began his career in the environmental field at Bio-Test Laboratories, where he served as Project Coordinator from 1972 until 1975. In 1975, Bio-Test was acquired by Nalco Environmental Sciences, at which time Eiler was named Project Coordinator-European Operations. He served in that capacity until 1977.

    Eiler holds a B.S. degree in Biology and a M.S. degree in Invertebrate Zoology from the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL. He has also received biochemistry training at the University of Illinois Medical Center. Eiler has studied Pollution Ecology in Freshwater, Ispra Courses, Ispra, Italy. He is a member of the National Association of Environmental Professionals, American Society of Testing and Materials, Society of Mining Engineers of AIME, American Petroleum Institutes, American Society of Hospital Engineering, American Society of Safety Engineers and has successfully passed the Institute for Environmental Career Advancement exam for Hazardous Materials/Waste Certification. Eiler is certified as a hazardous materials supervisor by the World Safety Organization. He has lectured on hazardous materials management, right-to-know training, and environmental issues at health care facilities.
