Jonathan Eiland
...
Jonathan is a very explosive athlete. He played wide receiver at Murray State and came to Atlanta to work with me on his combine preparation program. After some technique work he ran a 4.38 40 yard dash and was jumping 37" in the vertical. Jonathan's program consisted of specific speed and agility work designed to improve his combine tests. In the weightroom Jonathan performed four training sessions a week utilizing the dynamic effort method, the maximum effort method and the repeated effort method. These workouts particularly develped strength and power in the low back, glutes and hamstrings as well as increasing his upper body strength. Particularly for the skill position players relative strength is a huge concern and Jonathan's program addressed this as well. J is a good balance of speed, strength and power and we expect big things from him as he prepares for the next level in his career. -

Jonathan Eiland is a speedy receiver who reminds me of Terrence Tillman and Marcus Christon, and I think he will make significant plays for us this season. -
