   SHOREWOOD HILLS- Claire Girvan Eikel, age 60, passed away from cancer Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002. A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Claire graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia in 1964 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. In 1971, she earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, also in Philadelphia. After a brief term in the Peace Corps, she was a psychiatric social worker for the Delaware County (Pa.) Department of Public Assistance.

(Chuck) Eikel; a daughter, Siobhan Nassalang; a grandson, Daniel Charles Nassalang; three sisters, Patsy Girvan Sauri of Philadelphia, Elizabeth Girvan Brown of Havertown, Pa., and Gail Girvan Gismondi, Philadelphia; and a brother, Garrett J. Girvan of Danville, Calif.
