   Kathleen `Neen' Eighinger
   
   Renton resident Kathleen ``Neen'' Ione Eighinger died Sept. 5, 2000, at Valley Medical Center in Renton. She was 66.
   
   Born Oct. 12, 1933, DATE : [ 10/12/1933 ] in Aberdeen, S.D., she moved to Renton 55 years ago. She worked as a retail grocery clerk at Market Basket stores and at Associated Grocers in the Seattle area and on the Eastside.
   
   Mrs. Eighinger graduated from Renton High School and was a member of Eagle Lodge 3054 in Issaquah. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
   
   Survivors include sons Phillip D. Johnson and Thomas N. Eighinger of Auburn and Dennis R. Johnson of Maple Valley ; brothers Harry Ballard of Renton, Dick Ballard of Wrangell, Ala., and Michael Ballard of Des Moines ; and sisters Marge Richter and Mildred Battee of Renton, Ann Goodwin of Kent and Charlene Bacalzo of Des Moines.
   
   A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Village Chapel of Renton. Arrangements are by Bleitz of Bellevue.
   
   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Seattle or the American Cancer Society.
