Shari Edelstein
Shari has twenty years of experience with nonprofits as a grant maker, organizational consultant, professional manager and volunteer.
Shari served as the Director of the Grants Department for New Israel Fund, as a Regional Manager for the Jewish Agency for Israel and as the Israel Field Representative for UJF Pittsburgh Federation.
Before moving to Colorado, Shari worked for the Maryland Association for Nonprofits on a national program promoting best practices in nonprofit management.
Currently, Shari serves as the Coordinator for 18 Pomegranates, a newly formed foundation based in Boulder, Co.
Before moving to Israel and Baltimore, Shari practiced law at Arnold & Porter in Washington, DC.
Education: She has a B.S. from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin.
Her oldest son, Nadiv, attends BJDS.
Her youngest, Matan, will be attending the pre-school in the fall of 2008.
