    CEO Riggs Eckelberry was interviewed by the magazine after speaking at the National Algae Association Business Plan Forum on July 17 in The Woodlands, Texas.

    In the article, entitled "OriginOil presents at algae conference, " available online at the Biodiesel Magazine website , Mr. Eckelberry discussed OriginOil's series of patent filings with attendees of the National Algae Association Business Plan Forum. He noted it was the first time OriginOil had discussed its technology and vision in detail in public. The article includes images of OriginOil 's Helix BioReactor ™ first generation prototype of February, 2008.

    According to the article, Mr. Eckelberry was "…amazed at the energy of the conference. The corridors were just overwhelmed with people. There was a combination of very smart scientific people, businesspeople, funders and entrepreneurs. It was quite a mix.

    The article reported on several unique innovations in OriginOil 's algae production system from nutrient delivery to oil extraction .
