Corey Ryan Earle, 2003 Dryden High School graduate and son of Brian and Jody Earle of Freeville, graduated summa cum laude in May from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University.

While at Cornell, Corey was on dean's list every semester and was recently featured as one of 20 "remarkable members of the class of 2007" in the Cornell Chronicle.Corey was the first undergraduate recipient of the College of Human Ecology Dean's Fellowship in the History of Home Economics and is planning to publish his research.
He served as president of the Quill and Dagger Senior Honor Society and was general manager and then president of the men's glee club, of which he was a member for four years.The past two years, he wrote a biweekly column in The Cornell Daily Sun highlighting Cornell's history.The Sun included him on their list of the "25 Most Influential Cornellians" of 2006.
Earle received an outstanding undergraduate teaching assistant award.He was recognized with the Chester A. Freeman Communication Leadership Award and is a member of the following honor societies: Mortar Board, Golden Key, Lambda Pi Eta, Ho-Nun-De-Kah, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars.Corey worked part time for three years in Cornell University's Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections at Kroch Library.After employment at Cornell this year, he plans to attend graduate school.
