Jena, 22 June 2006 - The Supervisory Board of Analytik Jena AG (ISIN DE 0005213508) announced at its meeting today that it has appointed business graduate Mr Stefan Döhmen (42) as Chief Finance Officer of Analytik Jena AG with effect from 1 July 2006.
Stefan Döhmen thus succeeds Jürg Briner, who is leaving the company on good terms following three years as a member of the Executive Board of Analytik Jena AG.

Mr Döhmen, the newly appointed CFO, has extensive professional experience in the areas of finance, accounting and controlling at both national and international companies.Following a business studies degree at WWU Münster, he was employed in various business administration positions in the Mannesmann group for ten years, over half of which were spent working as a controller in the USA.On his return to Germany in January 2001, he was responsible for the business management of first the German and later the European subsidiaries of a Nasdaq-listed technology group before joining Analytik Jena as Head of Finance, Group Accounting and Controlling in January 2006.
The three-member Executive Board of Analytik Jena AG will comprise the two founders, Klaus Berka and Jens Adomat, and CFO Stefan Döhmen from July 2006.
