Tony Dyson
Tony Dyson, President and COO of BWOC earned a BA Honors in economics in England before four years in London as an investment analyst for Ford of Europe. In 1980, he moved to Texas with Clayco, Inc., a pipeline and trucking company, setting up field operations to transport and measure crude oil. In 1982, he oversaw operations at Andrus Pipeline Corporation, constructing 60 miles of crude gathering lines and terminals in and around Bryan to purchase and transport crude oil from the new Bryan Woodbine field. When that field became a Unit, he constructed and operated plants to inject water and gas, and treat oil. In 1990, he headed up a new Woodbine marketing subsidiary to purchase and treat oil from the secondary market. In 1994, as new BWOC president, he led the restoration of the Unit to profitability, expanded marketing, and presided over the development of the company's Austin Chalk acreage. Tony continues to investigate new opportunities where BWOC expertise and cost-effective management can be applied.
