Carl has designed, delivered and managed training programs for Canadian industries from coast to coast.

    Carl combines a Bachelor of Industrial Education, University of Manitoba, and electronics training with his inter-provincial Journeyman Millwright credentials to bring practical, experiential learning to his courses. His skill in teaching has been recognized at both the provincial and national levels; his latest honor includes a nomination for the Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence. He has extensive experience in curriculum and course design, and has contributed to the development of the provincial CTS Electro-technologies curriculum and has authored distance-learning materials.

    Carl has taught course design and instructional techniques to technical trainers at Nestle and Domtar and he has conducted performance and training analysis programs for companies such as Transfeeder and Trican.

    He is a highly respected trainer in hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial controls/PLC's, electronics troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and computer applications. Carl has managed large training initiatives for Alberta based oilfield service companies and for BC pulp and paper mills.
