  Dyke focuses his teachings on the philosophy and methodology of prominent extremist groups.His class also includes a segment about how the terrorist attacks were covered by the media.He started teaching the course at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1996, but Sept. 11 has sparked additional interest and has added relevance to his class.
