What is NIE?
NIE, or Newspaper in Education, is a fun, motivational program that uses the daily paper to apply education basics to the student's real world.Through our Newspaper in Education program, teachers receive discounted or funded newspapers and free lesson plan activities focused on using The Roanoke Times.These activities cover all subject areas for grades K-12.Activities are also available for adult education classes and general newspaper study.
