"During the recent incidents of guns in Myrtle Beach High School and North Myrtle Beach High School, I was a concerned community member and an advocate of clients attending Horry County Schools and so I contacted many people in both schools and at the school district.Dr. Dusenbury was always polite, no matter what questions I asked, he was professional and honest with me and on several occasions gathered additional information and called me back.

The last report of a firearm at an Horry County school was last fall when a girl drove her boyfriend's truck to school at the Academy for Technology and Academics, said Sam Dusenbury with Horry County schools.There was a gun in the truck, he said.
