"The children, the patients at Children's Hospital, are able to walk downstairs — literally — and see everything with the Festival of Trees," Dusenbury said.

Ashley brings lots of smiles to work with her each day.And anyone who deals with her can see them, even over the phone!Her office is a shining example of organization at its best - it's decorated with brightly colored signs that say things like "pending," "to file" and "do this now."

After interning at WIS-TV and graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina's College of Journalism and Mass Communications, Ashley took on the task of producing WIS's children's show, Mr. Knozit.During her tenure with the show, it was nominated for an IRIS for the Children's Show of The Year by the National Association of Television Programming Executives.She then moved to the challenging position at Lutheran Homes of South Carolina where she planned and placed all media buys, handled special events, ground breakings, press relations and open houses for five retirement communities in South Carolina.

For clients of The Gillespie Agency, Ashley develops, plans and places media buys; handles all public relations, promotions and special events and manages celebrity chef appearances on national television programs.Ashley handles all media with great aplomb, whether it's a small-town USA weekly newspaper or a national magazine.

After such hectic days, you'd suspect a couch potato existence, but Ashley starts it all over again when she gets home!She and husband Jonathan are always active ... hiking with their lab, and biking or canoeing down the Congaree River.
