Southern Miss women's basketball coach Joye Lee-McNelis announced the hiring of Jordan Dupuy as an assistant coach for the Lady Eagle program.

Dupuy comes to Southern Miss after spending the last four seasons as a teacher and coach at the high school level, including the last two spent at Oak Grove High School.He taught government and economics and was an assistant coach for the boys' and girls' basketball teams and fastpitch softball team at Oak Grove.During his tenure, he was instrumental in helping the girls' basketball team record their first 20-win season in several years.
Prior to joining the high school ranks, Dupuy worked with the Golden Eagle men's basketball program for six seasons as a manager, graduate assistant and director of basketball operations.As director of operations, his duties included travel, overseeing the managers, monitoring academic progress as well as assisting in film exchange and scouting.
